Andrew holds a BA and MA in music from the University of Oxford (Magdalen College) and has over 25 years of experience as conductor, singer, arranger and educator.

Since he started as a boy chorister and has participated in hundreds of concerts with amateur and professional ensembles in 28 countries including:

Tallis Scholars, BBC Singers, Academy of St Martin in the Fields, Buon Tempi Consort, Cantata Singers of Ottawa (Canada), Cantores Chamber Choir, A Capella Portuguesa, Carmina Kammerchor (Islande), Chantage, Chappelle du Roi, Close Shave Barbershop, Contrapunctus, Coro Cervantes, Ensemble sine nomine, Euterpe Baroque Ensemble (Belgique), Floreat Sonus, Geoffrey Mitchell Choir, Gloucester Cathedral Choir, Ionian Singers, I'inviti Singers, Larks Ascending, Magdala, Maida Vale Singers, Musica Beata, Orpheus Britannicus, Philharmonia Voices, Royal Choral Society, St Cecilia Singers, St Endellion Chorus, St George's Chapel - Windsor Castle, and the Swansea Bach Choir.

Andrew has directed or sung on over fifty commercial recordings including plainchant, opera, popular music, and masterpieces of the sacred repertoire. He has also broadcast on radio and television and contributed to the soundtrack of several films and documentaries. Other achievements include twice performing on stage in a West End musical comedy; singing at the marriage of Prince Edward; providing backing vocals for Hayley Westenra and  José Carreras; climbing Magdalen tower at 3am to entertain crowds with madrigals; providing close harmony on a pirate ship on the Thames, and performing with choirs in chapels, churches and Cathedrals throughout the UK.

Andrew shares his time between Ottawa and Montréal. He is married to Émilie and together they have two young sons.
